Emma captured this amazing frost flower whilst working at Waggoners Wells - have you ever seen a frost flower? They're created when we get freezing temps, but warm ground causes plant roots to draw water up into their stems. When it reaches the stems, the water freezes quickly and pushes its way out of the thin stem walls, making ice petals. #frostflowers #frostyday #frost #iceflower #waggonerswells #nationaltrust
