Here's another view of those unusual frost flowers spotted at Waggoners Wells They're created when we get freezing temps, but warm ground causes plant roots to draw water up into their stems. When it reaches the stems, the water freezes quickly and pushes its way out of the thin stem walls, making ice petals. #frostflowers #frostyday #frost #iceflower #waggonerswells #nationaltrust
